What is Biolight®?
Biolight® is a patented and proven treatment method that accelerates the healing of all soft tissues — the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and organs — and some bone tissues.
It uses a hand-held device that is placed on the skin around the wound area. By applying monochromatic light of specific wavelengths and pulse frequencies for carefully calculated periods of time, it speeds up the healing process of cells. Numerous clinical studies provide evidence on the effectiveness of Biolight® as a treatment for wounds, periodontal diseases and physiotherapy.

How does it work?
Various forms of light — including X-rays, UV radiation, lasers and white light — are used to treat a range of diseases and conditions. Biolight® is an innovative treatment that uses another part of the spectrum — referred to as monochromatic light — to promote healing. The Biolight® unit is equipped with light diodes that emit monochromatic light pulses directed towards the patient’s skin. For each condition, information about the treatment time, frequency and wavelength is stored on specific BioCards.
Biolight® increases cell fibroblasts, which enhances the production of collagen, elastin and other growth genes. This stimulates cell growth and reproduction, and accelerates the healing of all soft tissue and some bone injuries.
